Meet Dr. Jon Ross, Optometrist
Dr. Jon Ross attended Murray State University. From there, he went to Southern College of Optometry and graduated in 1998. He joined the staff at SCO as an assistant professor and taught clinical skills. In July 1999, he began his practice in the Northeast Arkansas area. He’s been practicing in Jonesboro since 2000. He was awarded the “Optometrist of the Year” in his region in 2007 by Wal-Mart Inc. He is a member of the AOA and the Arkansas Optometric Association. He is a member of the Valley View Church of Christ and enjoys golf and watching his kids play sports.
Meet Dr. Kelly Ross, Optometrist
Kelly grew up in Melbourne, AR. She is a graduate of UCA with honors. From there, she attended Southern College of Optometry and graduated in 1998. She did a one-year residency at SCO in family practice. She began her practice in Blytheville in 1999. She currently works full-time at the Walnut Ridge location. She and Jon have two children, Reagan and Hayden. She is a member of AOA and Arkansas Optometric Association. She is also a member of the Valley View Church of Christ and works closely with her children's school PTA. She enjoys being a mom and planning fun things for the kids.
Meet Dr. Jonathan Simmons, Optometrist
Dr. Jonathan Simmons grew up in Warren, AR and is a graduate of U of A at Monticello. He attained his Optometric degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1991. For the past thirty years he has been practicing in his offices in Lee, Monroe, and St. Francis counties. In August of 2021, he joined Ross Eye Care and primarily sees patients in the Paragould location. He has been married to his wife, Cindy for thirty years. They have three children, a daughter in law, and one grandson. Dr. Simmons is an active member of Central Baptist Church - Paragould campus. He loves to hunt, fish, and work outside.
Meet Dr. Bianca Montalvo, Optometrist
Dr. Bianca Montalvo was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She completed her undergraduate education in microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico and then attended the IAUPR optometry school. Dr. Montalvo joined Ross Eye Care in September 2025 and is very excited about serving Jonesboro and the surrounding area. Outside of optometry, she loves spending time with her husband, traveling, and enjoying good food.
